Solutions to save cold water from showers

Researchers from UPC, FEGICAT, and Tarpuna SCCL are working to evaluate the implementation of a technical solution that helps save cold water from the shower—without the need for a bucket 😉—before it heats up and is ready for use. They are exploring technical solutions that, for instance, could redirect this water to the toilet. In the context of structural drought, this represents a potential saving of 10% in household water consumption.
